Sweet & Sauerkraut Pork Chops

Tender delicious pork chops served covered in a sweet and tangy sauerkraut sauce.

This recipe for Sweet & Sauerkraut Pork Chops is an easy and delicious weeknight meal that your family will love.


8 boneless pork loin chops

2 tablespoons of butter

32 ounces of sauerkraut (drained)

1 cup of ketchup

1/2 cup of dark brown sugar

2 tablespoons of extra virgin olive oil

1 tablespoon of Worcestershire Sauce

2 teaspoons of Everyday Seasoning (plus more for sprinkling on the pork)

egg noodles for serving (optional)


Trim some of the fat off of 8 boneless loin pork chops. Sprinkle them with Everyday Seasoning. Add 2 tablespoons of extra virgin olive oil to the Instant Pot or hot pan, add chops and sear for 2 minutes. Season the back side, flip and sear 2 minutes more. When all the pork has been seared, remove and set aside Melt 2 tablespoons of butter in the pan. Add in 32 ounces of drained sauerkraut and saute for 6-8 minutes. Next add in 1 cup of ketchup, 1/2 cup of dark brown sugar, 1 tablespoon of Worcestershire Sauce and 2 teaspoons Everyday Seasoning. Mix together and cook for 10 minutes to allow the flavors to meld Nestle the pork chops in the slow cooker with the sauerkraut mixture, making sure all the pork is covered. Cover and cook on high for 4 hours or on low for 8 hours Serve over a bed of egg noodles (optional)
