Cajun Shrimp and Andouille Skewers are quick to prepare and loaded with flavor from our Hella Cajun Seasoning.

Ingredients for Cajun Shrimp & Andouille Sausage Skewers
1 lb jumbo shrimp
12 ounces andouille sausage (fully cooked), sliced
1 large red pepper, cut into chunks
1 medium red onion, cut into chunks
1 Tablespoon The Spice Apothecary's Hella Cajun Seasoning.
2 tablespoons of olive oil + more for grilling
3 tablespoons lemon juice
1 Tablespoon lemon zest
Chopped parsley for serving
Directions
In a large bowl, add raw shrimp, sliced andouille, red pepper chunks, red onion, Hella Cajun Seasoning, olive oil, lemon zest, and juice. Toss to combine.
Alternating protein and vegetables, skewer the ingredients.
Brush the grill grates with olive oil and preheat to 400℉. Once the grill reaches temp, place the skewers onto the grates.
Close the lid and grill for 3 minutes per side or until fully cooked.
If cooking indoors, heat oiled grill pan or cast iron pan over medium heat, add skewers and cook for approximately 5 minutes then flip and cook until the shrimp are opaque and cooked through.
Sprinkle with chopped parsley and serve.
What to serve with Cajun Shrimp & Andouille Sausage Skewers: White or yellow rice, cheesy grits, or cornbread.
Note: if using wooden skewers, soak them in water for at least 30 minutes prior to cooking.
